I've played around with it quite a bit a couple of years ago -- from installing it on a few servers, to writing plugins -- so I'm quite familiar with it; it somehow felt "wrong" though to use it for that reason. Like people who use blogspot for a site that isn't a blog at all, just because it's free and easy. But I have since found that therer are some calendar plugins for Wordpress, so that problem is solved too. Thanks for all the suggestions!
