Bitz 'n' Bytes have been good to me for emergency retail purchases but I'm not sure about repairs either. Is the battery holding it's charge? If not, have you searched on eBay for a replacement battery? I've seen other laptop peripherals break with a dodgy battery only to work fine when said battery was removed.
