Quay IT in Totnes - no personal dealings with them, but a client of mine in Totnes is moving away from using them... Bitz 'n' Bytez in Ashburton - not 100% sure they do repairs though. Moortek in South Brent - personally known to me - do repairs, but mostly specialise in Acer kit. I'd guess there is something in Newton Abbot, but I've no idea myself. Further afield, PC Southwest in Clyst St. Mary do specialise in PC/Laptop repairs (and they're a client of mine), but I suspect for a laptop "several years old" it might really be cheaper to buy a new one.
