I didn't get kicked off as such, but they where not happy with me
"advertising" the Free Software Day last year. They felt that I wasn't
giving anything away. I pointed out that we where giving services and free
CD's, but the moderator was still not happy. I did not persue it because
basically time ran out. I think offering CD's should be ok as this is a
physical thing that you are giving away freely.

It seems its still difficult to justify giving away software freely even
on a site dedicated to giving things away free.
