I have a (K)ubuntu desktop that, until I finally got round to find out how to
stop my daughter putting it into standby mode, wouldn't start any of the
network interfaces properly coming almost instantaneously out of standby so
had to be rebooted!!!.
I should add that when I say instantaneously I mean the time for me to walk
back round the table after restarting and the monitor to warm up!
I quite like Ubuntu but I wish it would let me control my network cards like
it used to.
