I am on basic broadband with 'up to 8MBTS' advert. speeds average about 3MBPS Varies 4.5 to 2.8 MBPS depending on time of day. I am worried about your "BT Yahoo" bit -there are two services from BT. BT Yahoo a retail merchant using BT lines to sell BT Yahoo (Was old dial up service and became broadband but has limit of 2MBPS configured into service at lowest monthly price) BT Broadband Different retail department and company form BT Yahoo (as dictated by OFCOM) sells 3 options BT Broadband 1 (limit download to 5 or 10Gb per month) BT Broadband 2 (limit download to 15 Gb per month) BT Broadband 3 (limit download to 'unlimited but fair use policy' per month) Check exactly what you have set up and for which you are being billed by BT If complaint I suggest writing to their complains department (Durham)and copy (recorded delivery) to their chairman. If BT router, it takes sometimes a week to get up to speed due to their incremental download increase to a 'stable' setting. Regards Eion MacDonald (eionmac@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx)
