Whilst not being in anyway a specialist in recording technology, I'd
advise that you get a "directional" microphone.  If you don't you'll
end up with all the background noise of people coughing, scraping
chairs, sniffing, shuffling their feet, holding their own
conversations, etc.

As Rob has indicated, if you wish, you can pay upwards of £100.
Although, unless you're going to be using it frequently, that's
probably going to be too much.

I think Google might prove useful for researching what's available.
