The Phoenix art centre in Exeter is host to some similar courses I
believe, but all with proprietary software, or software that runs on
proprietary OSes I don't have licenced (or don't have installed anywhere
even if I do have a licence).

I would think a course would not be needed for iphoto, the standard Mac application, it is a brilliant program and easy to use.  What about f-spot ?  Robin
