If any (K)Ubuntu 7.04 users are around, I could do with a little information.... Have you tried inserting a data DVD? Not a film, but just data - e.g the sort of thing you get with PC mags. If so, does it mount? On 3 different systems here, data dvds fail to mount. No information or feedback of any sort - nothing. But if I manually mount them from a command line, I can happily browse the disk. Most odd. Cds work fine - data or music, they just bring up a dialog box and are mounted. I have tried a few tweaks to fstab etc but no joy. So if other users have tried, I would be interested in their results. There are a few bug reports in the Ubuntu launchpad bug tracker related to this issue, but if anyone has tested it themselves, it may help me to sort out my own issues - and hopefully get some sort of fix into launchpad.
