Several here (not me!) have rather a lot of knowledge about SIMS, given it doesn't run on GNU/Linux as far as I know.

Flyers are a good idea, I think I have the relevant head of ITs email address already though ;) Last time we also used one of the school IT email lists, although Mark E was dubious of the number of recipients.
Probably best to send specific contacts to try to me offlist if anyone has any.
