It is fully working except that it will close down after one hour. At least you can try it out for nothing. But note that the fully working versions are not free. As mentioned before, this is one area where at the moment Linux fails us. There is no equivalent to Access or Paradox available on Linux. There are databases, of course, but they have two big problems. One, they are based on SQL, which I do not like at all. Two, and this is the big problem, they do not include an inbuilt GUI. (I am talking free ones here, Rekall has a sort of GUI). You have to use a separate program to create a GUI for your database and link them. I have found this to be my one moan about Linux. I used to write databases for small businesses and did very nicely thankyou. Now I would like to move clients over to Linux, but cannot offer anything that is anywhere near Access or Paradox. Do you know where I can get Rekall? Is it Free/Open? I tried SF.net but they appear not to have any files, and the project's homepage lists SF.net as the place to get downloads... Cheers. Grant.
