Steve,

	I have tried pilot -xfer and that did not work.  I'm sorry, I cannot 
remember the exact error because I was testing the palm (It is supposed to be 
present).  The people in PC world look all confused and scared when you 
mention linux!!  A multi-port serial card sounds like a good option because I 
won't have to unplug my modem.  Altough I am not familar with them, could you 
give the basics.  I am not what you call a highly experienced Linux user!
