Hmmm, is it a 560? This seems different to the problems I had - mine wouldn't go into 
suspend at all. I did get a similar effect when I used wdm rather than xdm, but that was 
on startup. I got round it by switching bvack to 

Couple of things to check:

  1. Are you ejecting pcmcia cards before suspending? 
  2. Is it trying to use a non-existent hibernation file (eg Redisafe)?
  3. Does it only happen after using the floppy drive, or does it not work after every 
suspend?

There's a few more things worth trying - get back to me with more details (eg kernel 
version and config) and I'll have a poke around in my archives...
