Hi Paul and everyone else. The Nominet registration shows that the dcglug.org.uk is actually owned and paid for by godaddy.com. This means that someone in 2004 made the grave mistake of registering the name with a hosting company! The Nominet registration shows that the dcglug.org.uk name is "Renewal Restricted" with "Client Renew Prohibited". So godaddy.com are unable to renew the name on the 4th December this year. What is needed is for someone to contact Nominet to check that we can ourselves buy the domain name, using a trusted member (suggest Paul Sutton since he has most of the contributions on our website) to register it in their own name directly with Nominet. Then we will be free to use any hosting that we want to use.
