A memory going back to 2010 is of a visitor seeing that I was running Linux and me explaining why I preferred it over windows, was his kind offer to get his son (who "knew all about computers" to come round and get my computer running on Windows. I of course declined the offer.

Because the subject matter has been bludgeoned to death over the years.
A google search for "linux vs windows" yields 3.19 billion page results.
If you limit that search to videos it yields 50 million results. Do we
really need to hear the same argument time and over again?
