Hi All, In case anyone else encounters this.Cause: PEBCAK as usual :) I was trying to map a USB drive attached to my Raspberry Pi (running Motioneye) but it did not go well. In doing that I inadvertently added a Bookmark in Nemo on my main system to the drive that is not playing ball on the Pi. On every subsequent boot Nemo was very sluggish. It seems it was trying to locate the misbehaving share every time it opened, not just when the Bookmark was selected - I would have thought that ought to be the default behaviour.
Simple solution to the original issue - delete the bookmark. Even without rebooting Nemo stopped looking for the bookmarked dodgy share and now behaves normally.
