A word of warning re these small boxes with a 32GB SSD â they are not real SSD drives, but a modified flash/SD card technology and are often soldered directly to the board. They are totally useless and quite slow.
Re: getting inside to make changes - you should assume you canât. most of the atom based systems are built as a single part. - there is nothing to modify - the intent is you add devices via the USB and other I/O connections.
Not that you would - because youâd be smart enough not to waste your time buying one in the first place. They are a gimmick to extract cash from unwitting consumers.
What I would recommend is something like these zotac machines I found the other day. https://www.ebuyer.com/search?q=zotac. I havenât bought one but they look like the right balance of size
and utility. I think the ryzen 5 1400 would make a nice little desktop.
