I have had some problems with the list, as explained already. With reference to my problems with trying out some earphones, and to answer one reply (which I found by looking at the archive) I have considered trying out some bluetooth earphones, but I have been told that they are not very good. Or was it bluetooth speakers?

Any comments please about bluetooth headphones?

Neil

Hi Neil,

It was my comment about Bluetooth headphones; I've only used them a couple of times but didn't have any issues with quality. However, it may depend how much of an audiophile you are.

Kind regards,

Julian

Not so worried about quality as reliability. I am thinking about using them with my computers, to save any comments about noise! But, from what, I can gather they need to be 'paired' with the PC or whatever. So would I need to do this with each computer?

Neil

Hi Neil,

Yes you would. It's the same process as any Bluetooth device. In this case, install Blueman Bluetooth Manager from the Software Manager, plug in a USB Bluetooth adaptor, then turn on the Bluetooth device. You'll see a Bluetooth icon in the system tray; just right click that, then Setup New Device and follow the prompts.

As I said I have only used it a couple of times so I cannot comment from vast experience on reliability, but it seems to work fine once setup and paired.

Kind regards,

Julian

I forgot to mention.. if it's a laptop it may already have Bluetooth built in so no need for that adaptor.

Julian
