Hello My daughter uses eduroam at Liverpool and I use the service when I act as her secretary (she is dyslexic) and have set up a VPN on my Linux computer if the browser cannot access what she needs. Saving the asterisked out group password was an essential step omitted from their otherwise clear instructions though. Support for Linux is abysmal and tucked away in dark corners of the web site! For some activities you even have to be on site as VPN can not access them.
