This is a trivial security system, the reminder is more likely to be useful than compromise to be even a nuisance.
Whether or not you receive reminders is user selectable. Turn reminders
off at your subscription options page.--You must have missed my point about this being the default, and that I won't be the only one affected.ÂSurely it's of interest to a LUG not to be insecure in its processes?ÂI would argue strongly that storing and worse, transmitting, passwords is extremely bad practice and should be avoided wherever possible - at a global level.
