Re: [LUG] Nexus 10 + Cyanogonmod

And by the way, I always wipe cache and Dalvik after I update cyanogenmod. It may even be necessary.
AND I use the "wipe to install new ROM", or some such named option, in Phillz, before installing a new ROM.

Phillz Touch Recovery is the best recovery mod (it looks ugly to
encourage you to customise it... Ubuntu purple default!).
Do make that back up (I have lived to appreciate this; flashing stock
firmware can be a pain and even require Windows, depending on the brand
of phone.

Then back up again once the phone is setup just so; should the handset
need replacing: voila.

Hmm, I really should have waited for your reply before charging in head
first as usual... I didn't bother with any of that pansy backup business
and immediately flashed it with clockworkmod + the very latest nightly
cyanogenmod build.

Probably should have been a little more conservative :]

Cyanogenmod unfortunately just sits at it's admittedly pretty cool
loading screen until I reboot it, so I'll try again with a stable build
instead. I promised myself I'd be a little more careful with flashing
the Nexus as I'm completely new to it, and that promise lasted all of
about 5 seconds. D'oh.

Is there a particular client side (Linux) tool I should be using to
streamline this? I'm just using the adb tools + the Nexus onscreen menus
at the moment.

Thanks for the info.

Cheers
