As someone watching with the intention of learning about Linux and thinking of adopting a Linux distribution the comments from Philip Hudson are the sort of comments likely to give Linux a bad name and tarnish the reputation of it's users. That is a personal view and others are welcome to agree or disagree. I thought Free Speech and Individual Opinions without abuse was still allowed. I have been watching in bemusement however as Phil has repeatedly spammed this list with a barrage of pointless, misguided and profoundly idiotic ranting (without me here to keep him in check and call him out on the bullshit he seems to have unfortunately regained a sorely misplaced confidence in his own importance). Gordon's reply was not only remarkably polite considering the circumstances, but was also completely accurate. The majority of the pointless drivel posted here by Phil is A: propaganda and B: irrelevant. You'd all be well served to generally ignore it, or better yet, add him to your mail program's block list.
