Personally we don't need more cores we just need better efficient cores 2 1ghz cores is fine or even maybe 4 800mhz cores but 8 cores is just not needed especially when Android probably won't use more than 3 if I wanted a device just as powerful as a pc I'd get a pc

Funnily enough I was just poking my HTC Desire S to see if it could take Cyanogenmod. It can't, leastwise, not with the easy installer, because it's "An old outdated phone" (And that was written a year ago!). It's still amazing to me, but it turns out it's old fashioned because it only has 1 core at 1gz and a mere 768mb of ram.

And now 8 cores and 2gb of ram. On a phone. This blows my mind.

I'd personally ditch the android and run linux on it. The unused cores can be turned off when not used and the others when you have a decent power source - and screen and keyboard.
