I had tried, but that didn't work either.

What is the router? i.e. Did you google it enough.

It's a router provided by Dutch ISP UPC. That's all I know - the router is
hidden somewhere that I can't access at the moment, so I'll have to ask
her for more details. Hopefully she knows the login details to the router
admin page as this may help.

A Google search for this problem and the specific ISP didn't provide any
clues.

Philip's suggestion is a good one too, again once I have access to the router.
