Have you had a good look at your routing table, and confirmed you understand what it's doing? But saying that, the rest of your log snippet looks pretty sane. Maybe post your UMS.conf? Also, what version of Java are you using? UMS can be pretty fussy about that, and unfortunately, the general opinion seems to be that the full Oracle Java is better for UMS than any of the other Linux options.
