I'm not sure if he said, but Claws tracks SSL certificates for email servers by default, so it will flag as and when it is switching between two servers with different but valid certificates. Suggests it is a good choice for the paranoid, or those with a need for stronger security in email. If you only talk to Google email servers you could remove the other certificate authorities from the trust list, and disable the warning thus blindly accept certificates for Google's certificate authority. If Google err and issue a certificate to the wrong person for Google Mail servers then SSL has probably ceased to have much utility for the purpose at hand. -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG http://mailman.dclug.org.uk/listinfo/list FAQ: http://www.dcglug.org.uk/listfaq
