[LUG] Fwd: Question for the LUG

 Hi All,

I had the below query from a friend.  Sounds odd to me.  Is there any 
reason Linux boot CDs wouldn't work while Windows ones will?

Acer aspire one with windows 7 unable to boot from any Linux CD or diagnostic CD 
etc. Only windows setup CDs will boot. Is this a deliberate linux killer like on the 
new windows 8 systems?
