So you want a pointy click interface project?

yes, it should be simple enough, however there are lots of gui type
stuff out there, and some are better than others for a specific
purpose, the lug members have experience of this sort of thing so
should be able to suggest an option or more than one option that would
fit this.

thanks

Actually this post made me remember about the time I did something similar for Doom on Windows 95 using Visual Basic 4... ahh those were the days. I actually really liked playing around with VB :-)

I still do :) Plans have changed now though from the MSc I was going to do in Computer Forensics; now hoping to do an MSc in Mobile Technologies, or Computing with optional Mobile Technologies module. Both with lots of programming in, although I suspect lots of Java for the Mobile stuff.

Julian

Well if you want to do a mobile front end and avoid Java then there is always necessitas which is a C++ version of the QT development platform.

I'd probably stick to something more simple like tcl/tk or glade but you could also do an HTML form and a bit of javascript to generate the command line which you could cut and paste into dos. Or reroute into a php server page that launches it automatically though its a while since I did that and I'm fuzzy on the details (and security).
