Highly unlikely to be the BBC Micro - as Minix was developed on 80386 cpu's and the Beeb just had an 8-bit 6502. Might have been a co-processor though. I had one of the 32016's but it really wasn't much good for anything at the time.

There was an 80186 co-processor for the Beeb, but I don't kniw if it ever ran anything other than (MS) DOS...
