Yes - it does seem somewhat problematic, however , I still run XP on my Laptop (dual-boot), and it was actually a breeze for my wife to use that to download the Sandisk application and then "sync" her audiobooks library which imported the files again without paying and it did the convert and sent to the to the audiobook directory on the player device...
I'm afraid my audio books are either CD's or piratebays (http://tpb.5gg.biz/ a Polish PB server now the UK pirate party is illegal). I would happily buy this stuff if I could use it!
