I live on a hill and round here we haven't had floods, although I do wonder how protected these cabinets are?

They're not.... I've seen water forcing its way out through the doors many times and at least one half sub merged (in a park in Torquay). It is strange what you find in them too......boots, cans, used condoms, a tin of beans, a stash of adult mags and even a pair of knickers are a few items I remember fishing out of them. I been to a few that have been knocked over, set on fire or been vandalised and had the cables ripped out...all of which are a right pain to put right...especially at night or in the pouring rain.

SWGFL Merlin is just as frustrating as it's predecessor, I know a few schools that are getting fed up with it. It is basically sharepoint with a kiddie freindly cartoon like interface and a lot of functionality ripped out - all primary schools in Cornwall have the chance to use it, even the county support teams use it. A number of primaries use Moodle as do most secondaries.

Even primary schools are getting into using Office 365 especially for things like shareable calenders that integrate with outlook and the online versions of word and excel which they are all used to using so no having to re-train plus they can use them on home kit without the school or staff having to meet the cost and it's free for educational establishments (A2) so they don't really have anything to lose -- I guess.
