[LUG] New Distro

Recently I installed Mint Maya Xfce as many of you know. I have had a 
lot of grief with it, starting with the log out problem and ending with 
it being completely unusable. Thanks for all the help and feed back.

Anyway, I have given up on it and installed Xubuntu 12.04 in its place, 
which I am using now. So far it's good, and logging out seems absolutely 
normal!

I had already backed up most of my home directory so that should be 
fine. About the only surprise so far is Firefox plugins. Maya had about 
ten at least set up automatically. Xubuntu has just one, Flash, so I 
will need to add more as and when.

So this is mainly to update the situation and to thank you all again for 
all the help and support.
