For those who use Twitter, the FLOSS equivalent, identi.ca, allows you to integrate pretty seamlessly with Twitter. Whatever you tweet in identi.ca appears to your Twitter followers, and whoever you follow in Twitter appears in identi.ca. The Twitter address in my footer below is just a proxy for my "real" identi.ca account, DubFish. What little microblogging I do takes place there, even though my few followers are all (so far) on Twitter. The gateways, once set up with the right permissions, make it all transparent.
Presumably, there are/will be similar gateways between FB and Diaspora. -- Phil Hudson http://hudson-it.no-ip.biz @UWascalWabbit PGP/GnuPG ID: 0x887DCA63 -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG http://mailman.dclug.org.uk/listinfo/list FAQ: http://www.dcglug.org.uk/listfaq
