Hi Did anyone express an interest in this for 30th April 2011, Just wondered if it is worth me following this up and starting the ball rolling. I was thinking this could simply be a larger linux user group meeting with talks etc, but I need to start working out specifics and seeing who is available to do talks and on what subjects. Its interesting data cantres has cropped up again perhaps if anyone has contacts in a data centre they could ask if we could get some sort of sponsorship in return for them getting links / promotion via the lug do a talk on what they do and how LInux / OSS fits into how they work / operate. Given that this subject does crop up now and again, if a link was on the website then it would generate business for the data centre company. clearly it does not just have to be Ubuntu, but we need a some sort of banner under which to do a larger event.
