BT seems to be going for a mix of VDSL (seems to max out at 40Mbit, at
least, that's all BT are doing) and FTTH for Cornwall. It doesn't seem
like they are trying to one-up Virgin (who they don't compete with
apart from Saltash) - they're already doing it simply by offering
faster broadband to most of the county.

I wonder how they're going to decide who gets what and when.
