Yes but until recently kids had to be allowed to express themselves when
writing so if they made errors it was not PC to correct them as it meant
they would be put off by having errors pointed out to them or it damaged
their creativity.  They have banned red pen as its too authoritative,
Personally I never had an issue with red pen in my work books at school.

ok my spelling it's great on this.  I did see a job advert at Wise
Employment for telephone interviewers - must have "good spoke and
written English" says it all really eh, I did contact em and point out
the error,  no response, not as yet anyway.
