Of course, the suits that run the world would never put up with such a straightforward system - not enough profit in it.

There are good resources out there to help choose an ISP, speak to other people and find out what they use, try ThinkBroadband.com, Samknows.com, DigitalSpy.co.uk forums are pretty good too.
