Hmmm... I have a 10 year old motherboard kicking around from my Athlon 1GHz (which I used to overclock to 1.428GHz), the capacitors are going on it, no doubt if the capacitors were replaced it'd work fine.
The problem is though, motherboards at about 10 years old will most likely not support the Athlon XP, you'd need something a little bit newer. As far as a chip goes, I might be able to find something possibly when I'm back from holiday.
