This sounds encouraging, more people asking about Linux etc, while he
may sell windows, if more people are looking for help with Linux its a
new service he can offer, Ok a lug meet you get Linux installed for
free, but it shows the market is shifting perhaps slowly or faster than
we think.

while he sells windows, there is perhaops a market for selling PC's
with Linux pre-installed, there is precidence to sell copies to cover
cost of media, ink, label etc, but if you are charging to install
something then to have a new system fully configured (3d graphics for
exanmple) can take some time, to set up, so again its a service,

may not make money selling windows, but he may make money being a
supplier that sells Linux friendly hardware, something that is asked
here on a occasional basis.
