Twelve years ago I used to buy shiny shrink wrapped boxes of Mandrake, SuSE and Debian (yes Debian!) from PC World in Aylesbury. It must be nearly 5 years since I last saw a Linux distro on sale at PC World anywhere, despite the fact that more and more hardware boxes proclaim that the contents are "Linux compatible". -- W.
