Ah yes, "unlimited" data. Why are mobile service providers all lying crooks? And why are they always 20 years behind? All of their 'unlimited' data contracts have very clearly specified limits. So it's obviously not unlimited! Some are worse than others. T-Mobile won't kick you off or charge you a fortune the moment you go over, but most will do one or the other.

T-Mobile - 1Gb
O2 - 1Gb (afaik)
Orange - 500Mb
Vodafone - 500Mb

And guess which two in that list are the worst money-grabbing draconians? Yeah that's right, the ones who think that 500Mb/month is enough data. Anytime you'd care to get a little nearer to the right century...

All the service providers are complaining that their purchase of frequency space was pointless because 3G isn't being used much. Maybe you should try not ripping people off for it? And this clearly shows how stupid the data limits are- it's not like the bandwidth isn't available.

I'm trying to get an N900, and change to a mobile data contract at the same time. Interestingly it's cheaper on contract at the moment. That would be fine, except that Vodafone have the exclusive on it. DAMMIT.
