Actually, you can almost have everything now for about 45 watts, and almost fanless... My workstation consumes less than 45 watts, although it does have a PSU fan, it can run most flash apps, and yes, javascript does bog it down at times (slashdot pages take a few seconds to load, and the wordpress dashboard is a bit clunky), but with the Atom processor, it's a very usable box. (And if/when firefox goes multi-threaded and chrome gets noscript/flashblock/adblock, it'll be even better as it's a dual core HT processor)

I'm not going to play the latest games, etc. on it, but I can watch full-screen mplayer videos...

There isn't yet an ARM based workstation (that I'm aware of) which is ironic as that's where they all started (and I had one too, after my BBC B got nicked...)
