My fault for not reading the spec close enough. I think maybe 2 glasses of wine should be the cut off point when placing orders.
I've used Asus mobos since the mid-90's. Not sure why - maybe it was because my employer at the time recomended them. I've never had a serious issue with them.
And some trivia with regard to routers from another thread and mobos... - I once built an Asus P100 with 3 10/100 Ethernet cards in it to act as a router - 128MB of expen$ive RAM. It was running FreeBSD and Gated. It connected our network to the LINX and to a rather large media company who's name has 3 letters, 2 the same...) It's busiest day: 6th September '97...
