[LUG] shoreline + Linux promotion

Hi

Just dropped in to shoreline today and asked about the book swap,

2. It is open to anyone to bring unwanted books along to swap for other
books, as i have several linux books that I don't want any more I will
drop some off before the next meeting

if anyone else has some, who is also going to the meet perhaps they can
do the same, it may be useful to other members.

All the ubuntu flyers I dropped off before have now gone :), I need to
print some more off, and it looks like several ubuntu cd's have gone
too, so that could be a good thing for the Linux community,

I will drop off some more cd's at some point, but if anyone has any left
over as the next meet is going to be the last before the next release of
ubuntu, it could be an opportunity to get rid of them before ordering
some 9.10 cd's.

issue 28 of full circle magazine is now out and has a series starting on
setting up a LAMP server.

http://fullcirclemagazine.org/issue-28/

I understand people have feelings for / against ubuntu, end of the day
we are a Linux user group, so the idea of this is to prompoe Linux /
free software, not any particular distribtion, if anyone has any
fedora, debian, or other distributions on cd' they are free to drop them
off at shoreline too.

Paul
