I mean, I was a staunch socialist after coming through state education (what a surprise), but in recent years having read more widely it really doesn't make sense. This system looks after corporations and special interest groups far more than my peers and I. Big government and socialism in fact only truly benefits the ruling oligarchy that control the monetary supply and governing body - something one can easily verify in the historical record. Why else was Marx given his Communist ideology by the Rothschild family in London?
