It was great to see how easy it was just to plug in the server and the firewall and have a couple of workstations up and running. But I know from personal experience that setting up an LTSP server, while a lot of fun is also very time consuming. The children seemed to gain access without any problems and although the attention was predominantly on flash games the network coped more than adequately. It was good to see people other than the usual DCGLUG members enjoying using GNU/Linux technologies. LTSP really is a good solution for clustered desktop environments and it's a shame that we dont see enough of it in use..... its time will come soon I hope.
