Thanks to all of the replies about this. Origionally I had been given some
bad advise from someone who related my experiance to one that he had with a
damaged mobile phone screen. He was told that it would be cheeper to simply
replace the phone rather than just the screen.
I've found the solution and it's eBay. There's a shop on there
spescalising in laptop screen. It's going to cost aroung £60.00 which is
much less than I had expected.
I'll be sure and look into the shop that was sugested here to see if
they work out better value.
