Re: [LUG] Viglen MPC-L for £77.31

 Hi Dave
I have listened to S01E11 - S01E20 i have only just discovered the older
podcasts via the "previous entries" link, Do you know when the podcast come
out every month?

When the power consumption was mentioned on the podcast i did wonder why it
wasn't compared to other devices and their power requirements. Monitor power
was mentioned, but devices that could be on 24/7 like ADSL wireless modem
and UPS power use weren't. A small UPS (650) with no load runs at 11 Watts,
Which is as much required by the little Viglen.

I did find the recent discussion on the bug fixing amusing.

I have found the podcast interesting as they have covered the history of the
LINUX applications, As i had been lead down the MS route via schools and
colleges etc. I didn't realise that Postgres had been around so long.

Regards

Sam
