Rob,

I think I have a Desktop/Live cd which has the following menu choices:
Start or Install Ubuntu
Start Ubuntu in safe graphics mode
Install with driver update cd
OEM Install
Check cd for defects
Memory test
Boot from first hard disc

The f-key selections allow boot options so what options do I need ?

The current boot line is:
file=/cdrom/preseed/ubuntu.seed boot=casper xforcevesa
initrd=/casper/initrd.gz quiet splash --

Thanks,

Chris
