I did post a message to the list yesterday about hosting a meeting > here (at home) for those in the area but it hasn't appeared - hummm You should be able to install in text-mode (similar to the Ubuntu-server installer) and add the "drivers cd" to your list of locations of installable files, then get the graphics working once Ubuntu's been installed.
